Fuchsia and Hummingbird
I painted my own backsplash in 2014 for my newly remodeled kitchen. I used Tsukineko Inks on travertine tiles. This is one image of the different scenes I made.
Gather Ye Rose Buds
This piece was made for Art Aloud. Your art piece has to be based on a Poem, I chose the poem “To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time” by Robert Herrick. I remember studying this poem in high school and I can still quote 2-3 lines of it. Ink and pencil on hot pressed watercolor paper.
Jelly Dance
Watercolor Jellyfish dancing together is 4”x6” made for a miniature competition. I love the jellyfish exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and watching them dance and float through the water.
Cheyenne
This is the Barn Owl from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, he only has one leg. This piece is 4”x6” colored pencil that I did for a miniature competition.
